In January and February of this year Jin held live concerts of Yellow Gold Tour 3011 in five cities in Japan. Warner Music Japan who handles Jin Akanishi's recording contract announced his  US debut single a collaboration with Jason Derulo to be released on July 4 his birthday. This has been rescheduled due to Jin's Hollywood movie filming commitment. An Album will be released in Fall. In March, his first single Eternal was released and it topped the Oricon Chart.He also opened his twitter account https://twitter.com/#!/jin_akanishiJin also started filming in Budapest, Hungary his first Hollywood movie, 47 Ronin with Keanu Reeves ( yes of the Ted & Bill Excellent Adventurers, Speed, the Matrix and more), and A-lister japanese actors Sanada Hiroyuki,Asano Tadanobou and Kou Shibasaki. The movie in 3D will be released worldwide on November 2012. In April , news confirming Jin Akanishi's role as Ooishi Chikara the youngest of the 47 Ronin and best friend of half British half Japanese ronin Kai played by Keanu Reeves was released online. "Announcement for the new cast, is none-other than the man popular amongst youngsters, Akanishi Jin. Challenging this work as his Hollywood debut, he acts the role of "Ooishi Chikara". Being the son of Ooishi Kuranosuke (Sanada Hiroyuki), and also an ally of Kai (character of Keanu Reeves), he challenges a very important role.Auditioning by himself in Hollywood, Akanishi got the role of "Chikara" with his English forte. And even if nobody cares what I did to celebrate Jin's birthday, I'm gonna tell the world anyway. For the week before July 4 I marathon watched Jin's Yellow Gold Tour 3011 DVD with english subs ( yey Wendy is back!), video clips of Jin's solos and perfs starting from Kat-tun's pre-debut concert Kaizokuban in 2004 (this will always be my favorite live con esp. the song Gold where Jin hits the high notes), the Akanishi version of the Real Face music video circa 2006, Cartoon Kat-tun II from 2007, Queen of Pirates 2008 and Break the Records 2009, fancams of Wonder, LoveJuice, MTVIggy Times Square jumbotron perfs, fancams of Eternal during You & Jin and Yellow Gold Tour 3010 live concerts, various  video clips of Jin from Summary 2006 , Oyakusama concert of 2003, Dream Boys of 2006 , Bandage and Eternal Music videos , Yukan Club for the fluff and the lulz ( I needed to laugh!), clips of Cartoon Kat-tun ( gads I miss the weekly dorkiness of Kat-tun)  and Bandage the  movie with english subs ( I cried like a baby again and its the 4th time I watched this movie! ). And I listened to Jin's songs on a loop!  But since I have a life, I stuck a memo on my ref to remind me to rewatch Jin's dramas Anego & Gokusen 2 during the rest of the year!
