Evolve or Die- A New Philippines, A New Earth

Today I immersed myself in readings of interviews and articles about Eckhart Tolle, an offshot of an email from my friend Victoria who conducts a study group in the Alabang area on his book A New Earth. During one of Eckhart's many conversations with Oprah Winfrey they touched on the topic of the evolution of human consciousness.

And their conversation goes something like this. One very stark and daunting choice today for humans is EVOLVE or die. Eckhart said that the effects of the dysfunctional ego are now being amplified by technology. We are in evolutionary transition where more human beings are able to go beyond the ego into a new state of consciousness which will eventually result in a new earth.Evolve or die he continues is the only choice now. If there is no change in human consciousness now we will destroy ourselves and eventually the planet.And this is exponentially triggered by technology that is rapidly bringing our species to the brink of destruction.
This EVOLVE or Die concept of Eckhart echoes the sharing of Nicanor Perlas on the role of technological singularity in the future of humanity during the Aletheia 1.0 3-week course in Iloilo May/June this year.

Awakening the Creative Spirit

He challenged us to activate the highest level of our human potential that cannot be mechanized. If we do not work on manifesting our creative nature, our highest potential, we will become extinct maybe in 45 years. The robots and artificial intelligence will take over what use to be the functions of humans. It is in awakening our creative consciousness, in embracing our highest potential that we can create a visionary Philippines, a new Philippinesand eventually a New Earth.

For me that is the core of being an imaginal in our world today. Having the courage tochange and transform and taking that inner change out into the world to help rebuild societies, one individual at a time,taking one small step in the beginning, linking up with other individuals to form a collectivity that will usher in the unstoppable tide of renaissance, of rebirth. I have experienced, I have encountered that future, today, in bursts of creative consciousness and I committed to move forward , going out of my comfort zone to realize that future of a visionary Philippines.
