Lakbayani – Lakbay ng Bayani (Journey of the Hero)
Madaling maging Bayani sa sariling Bayan. It is easy to become a Hero in your own country.
All over the Philippines, countless men and women are living ordinary lives in extraordinary ways as unsung heroes. These individuals are creating the future they want, by shaping and building a better country and sustainable society. They support advocacies on environmental activism, peace and conflict resolution, human rights protection, youth and women empowerment, health and wellness promotion, education, cultural appreciation and others.
Who are these ordinary Filipinos, living extraordinary lives?
Lakbayani is a celebration of projects and initiatives of unsung Filipino heroes. The journey of the hero is a journey of discovery. Its aim is to bring the good news, of Filipino heroes working in the grassroots, building a better country through their work in business, politics and culture.
